Studyblrs, let’s start something together

fightostudy

A reason why i work hard: to show to those who scoffed and laughed at my big dreams that even the weakest cubs can become strong and feared lions.

Now reblog with a reason why you work hard and pass this motivation along.

I work hard to prove that fashion is, in fact, a good career. And that I can be independent, successful and strong without having to get married.

fightostudy

After you reblog with your reason, read some others in the notes. Honestly reading everyone’s reasons is making me tear up, they’re all so beautiful. YOU GO GUYS! Let’s fight for our dreams!

orcstudyblog

I work hard because I’m afraid of losing out. Not to others but to my previous self. I’m also working hard because my parents are paying so much money for my livings, education and welfare overseas. For the sacrifices that my parents have made for me. To tell those people who are secretly laughing behind my back saying I can’t do it, I CAN. And to prove that I’m special. But the most important thing that keeps me going on is my love in learning new things.

essaysandnotes

I work hard because I know that there are people way less privileged than I, and I should definitely work my hardest to make sure these privileges are not wasted. Instead of watching people suffer and living in comfort, I’ll definitely do all I can to help them.

salvadorbonaparte

I work hard because when my father told me how I am crap and never gonna be anything, I swore to become someone awesome later, someone who helps this world. And when the children service and shitty psychologist and the court told me similar things, I again swore to show them all what I am capable of.

fightostudy

This turned out better than i ever thought it would, i’m so grateful for this. Keep reblogging! #WhatsYourReason

vierosestudies

I work hard so I can prove to my family that I can make it. I work hard because I am afraid of failure. I work hard to prove that I CAN be/do whatever I want to be/do.

goodgrades-goodcoffee

I work hard to get the grades my teachers said I couldn’t, to go to my first choice uni, to give myself the best chance in a competitive career path, and the best future I can!

dungeonstudy

I work hard, so that one day in the future, when I look into my past I know I did my best to get where I am today

ravenclaws-students

I work hard to give myself options. I work hard because I endure so much crap everyday that I want to make at least part of my time in high school worth something. I work hard to show people that women and minorities can be successful. I work hard for the hope that one day I’ll be happy.

studyblr-accountant

I work hard because I want myself to be better than I am now.

chaitea-n-study

I work hard because I know that in the end the hard work I put in now will make me a better speech language pathologist in the future.

studitiious

I work hard because i want to change the world. Even if thats by helping only one person, the fact that I was able to improve their life - even if it was only by a minuscule amount - is what I am working for. I want to make myself a better version of my past and present self. I want to continuously learn and grow and travel and prosper. I work hard  not only for my own future, but for others- my family, my friends, my teachers- everyone who has said they believed in me.

ivegotmessyhandwriting

I work hard to prove to myself that I am capable of good things, even though I put myself down all the time b

aestheticstudiess

I work hard because I know women can be successful in the field of engineering and computer science. Also, they can be CEOs of famous businesses.

aspiringstudies

I work hard because I want to live my life knowing that I’ve accomplished something. I work hard for myself. We have goals for a reason. I work towards achieving my goals so I can learn new things and get past obstacles along the way. We’re so lucky to have access to so many resources today that provides a chance to learn more things, so why not learn more?

thestudyingaussie

I work hard to prove to not only myself, but to the world I am capable and that I have accomplished what I set out to achieve. I work hard to be a role model for those around me and for those who are struggling for some kind of direction. I work hard because I want to prove to the world that you can be a successful, independent, ambitious and accomplished business woman AND an excellent wife and mother. I work hard because when I do get married and have kids (well, depends on my love life), I want to show the world that tradition and ambition are not mutually exclusive. I work hard because I want to help others reach their full potential because I believe that everyone deserves an opportunity to do so.

fightostudy

I work hard so i can give my parents the life they truly deserve, a life that reflects their hard work and the time, love, and happiness that they gave me. I work hard so that i won’t waste the opportunities they gave me and the sacrifices they made for me to lead a happy and good life.

anaspiringmd

I work hard because I owe life so much, and there are countless reasons to feel thankful and contented, and give something back to it. I need to make myself and my family proud and get what I deserve - and working hard is the only true way to do it! :) Working hard brings my potential to surface, reaps productivity and makes me capable of contributing to this world by learning how to. This is an evolving process, and I’m always so eager for it.

Procrastination is the thief of time.

List down your to-dos, get up and knock them down one by one. Don’t sit and brood over your daydreams. Don’t wait for motivation. Get up and tidy up! :) If you won’t do it for yourself, no one will.

…finally, I have my own medblr!

Header: Merry Xmas! :)

Believe me, I have been planning on starting with my personal medblr for ages now (and was always busy looking at/following other medblrs for inspiration), but then today, I just managed to start off with one (sigh). Feels like an achievement already, although it’s got nothing here. But we’ll take it along as time passes by.

I’m answering following questions/FAQs below:

1. What is my medblr for?

Everything I am passionate about, precisely. I personally love Tumblr, and I think it’s a wonderful place to hunt down inspiration and follow people with your interests. My focus is to keep myself tracked down on my USMLE path. I am a fourth year medical student from Pakistan, planning to take Step 1 in Nov, 2016 and aspiring to get my M.D. in 2019 (Amen to that). What to know more about me? Next question, please.

2. Some nifty bits about myself?

So hey! I’m Anum, crazy about my career as a doc and already dreaming about my match in one of the best US hospitals!! Apart from that, I LOOOVE spending time with family, my fiance, working as a freelance writer, cooking, reading and what not. I am lately soooooo much into pets too, and I am brooding over having a cat soon! ;) (Well, we used to have a domestic cat back in my old home, and she was darn lovable!!! :D And she had an even-more-lovable kitten too! ^_^ But she was left behind when we shifted our place about 2 years back.)

3. Why should you follow me?

Well, you can have your diverse reasons. But I would love to get to know you. Motivation and friendship are two-way traffic - and I believe that we all can make life so much beautiful and fun by spending some time to help each other grow. :) If you follow me, it will give me heart to post responsibly and give out more to you. I’d love to follow you too!

Got more to ask? Sure! I’d love to hear back from you.

Next up: What is my 45-week USMLE Step 1 plan? :)

Till then, do write back and tell me if you’re running a medblr too (I’d love to follow you! *hi-five*).

Tell me about yourself:

1. Are you into medicine too?

2. Planning for USMLE?

3. Your dreams. :)
